Creative Central NCL is thrilled to partner with The Late Shows once again, offering artists an exciting opportunity to create a commissioned piece as part of this iconic after-hours festival.
The Opportunity
This year, Creative Central NCL is supporting a new artistic commission in partnership with Arcadea CIO, an organisation dedicated to addressing inequalities for disabled artists within the arts and cultural sector. Arcadea will soon move into its new space at Waterloo Square, right in the heart of the Creative Central NCL area. While the venue is still under development, its large window frontage presents an exciting canvas for new artwork to engage The Late Shows audience.
We are seeking an artist to collaborate with Arcadea artists, ensuring a meaningful and empowering creative process. The selected artist will create a visually impactful piece that transforms the square and enhances The Late Shows experience.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from artists across a range of visual art forms, particularly those with experience in vinyl or paint applications suitable for the building’s frontage.
Artists who have experience working with disabled creatives or who identify as disabled themselves are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Budget
There is a commission budget of up to £2,500 available.
